SELF CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS A self contained breathing apparatus or SCBA is a device worn by first responders, firefighters, industrial worker and others to provide breathable air in environments that are Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health ( IDLH) . The term “ self-contained” differentiates SCBA from other apparatus connected to a remote supply by a long hose. CENPAQ Designed for ease of donning, the Cen-Paq range is used where speed of response is the key issue. Cen-paqs one sized waistcoat allows it to be used where full sized SCBA may be too bulky. Cen-Paq is suitable for snatch rescue, intervention and rescue applications.
